With the help of our community, Mercy Support Services believes in giving a hand up and leading individuals on a path of learning and self-reliance that ultimately enables them to become self-sufficient.

Mission
Through Christ, we empower our neighbors who are circumstantially in need to strive for a stable and sustainable future. We provide self-sufficiency programs that ensure accountability and measurable results.
Mercy Support Services is committed to providing solutions, as well as offering preventative resources, for those in crisis in our community. Mercy Support Services is built on the premise, “A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out". Mercy helps guide individuals and families from a temporary crisis to permanent self-sufficiency.

Our Self-Sufficiency Programs are designed to assist displaced families in Clay County with temporary housing, financial training, life skills building, and accountability. Through Mercy’s successful process, these displaced families experience a triumphant journey to self sufficiency, which creates generational change.
Mercy Support Services is a one of a kind organization in Clay County that excels at being a continuum of care that is consistent until clients are self-sufficient. Additionally, a family of caring, heartfelt people who are passionate about treating our clients with respect and dignity as they begin to regain hope and begin to dream again.

Our
Vision
Transformed Lives - Building Community
In 2024, over 9.1% of Clay County’s population lived in poverty. Approximately 85% of the individuals and families receiving services through MSS fall below the poverty line. With the limitations in available workforce housing in Clay County, the need is great.

Our
Belief
The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Mercy Support Services' faith, doctrine, practice, policy and discipline, our CEO and/or the Board of Directors are Mercy Support Services' final interpretive authority on the Bible's application.
