Mercy Support Services collaborates with other organizations and the Clay County government to help fill the gap as we assist individuals out of desperation.
The Goal: Providing Housing Stability for Families & Individuals
Housing Stabilization funding through Clay County SHIP & the Clay County Housing Finance Authority requires that you have been a resident of Clay County for 6 months, meet the County required income guidelines and be in imminent danger of facing homelessness.
Eviction Prevention
Includes:
Temporary rental assistance to prevent eviction.
Financial coaching and budget management support.

Eligibility & Program Requirements:
Must be at least 2 months delinquent on rent
Participants must provide financial documents and attend coaching sessions.
Rapid Rehousing
Includes:
Temporary financial assistance for individuals transitioning into stable housing.
Assistance with move-in costs, including security deposits, rental payments, and utilities.
Financial coaching and budget management support.

Participants must provide financial documents.
Participants must work closely with a financial coach and follow an agreed-upon rental assistance schedule.
