Mercy Support Services exists to meet the needs of people experiencing circumstantial crisis and housing insecurity. Mercy Support Services collaborates with other organizations and the Clay County government to help fill the gap as we assist individuals out of desperation.
The Goal: Providing Housing Stability for Families & Individuals
Housing Stabilization funding through Clay County SHIP & the Clay County Housing Finance Authority requires that you have been a resident of Clay County for 6 months, meet the County required income guidelines and be in imminent danger of becoming homeless or homeless.
Eviction Prevention
Includes:
Temporary rental assistance to prevent eviction.
Financial coaching and budget management support.

Eligibility & Program Requirements:
Must be at least 2 months delinquent on rent
Participants must provide financial documents and attend coaching sessions.
Rapid Rehousing
Includes:
Temporary financial assistance for individuals transitioning into stable housing.
Assistance with move-in costs, including security deposits, rental payments, and utilities.
Financial coaching and budget management support.

Participants must work closely with a financial coach and follow an agreed-upon rental assistance schedule.
